Cobrador Island
Romblon · Philippines
Cobrador Island is Romblon's most celebrated dive site, known for pelagic thresher sharks that patrol the cleaning stations in the blue water just off the reef wall in the early morning hours. The wall itself drops steeply to over 40 meters and is densely colonized by sea fans, black corals, and wire corals hosting a remarkable variety of pygmy seahorses. Current-swept corners attract schools of jacks and fusiliers, making Cobrador a rare site that satisfies both pelagic hunters and macro enthusiasts on a single dive.
