Looc Bay
Romblon · Philippines
Looc Bay on Tablas Island is widely regarded as one of the finest nudibranch and frogfish diving destinations in the Philippines, with a sandy-bottomed muck habitat that reveals extraordinary diversity on every dive. The shallow rubble zones shelter scores of chromodoris, hypselodoris, and phyllidiella nudibranch species, while the seagrass patches beyond host flamboyant cuttlefish and ghost pipefish. Patient macro photographers regularly log more than 30 nudibranch species per session in this bay.
