Underwater at Sail Rock — The Chimney

Sail Rock — The Chimney

Dive site

The Chimney is Sail Rock's signature feature — a vertical swim-through beginning at 18 metres and opening to the surface. Divers ascend through dense curtains of glassfish that part and reform around them, with shafts of light filtering down from above. The interior walls host cup corals and encrusting sponges, while the exit at the top delivers you into open water above the main wall where whale sharks regularly patrol.
