Underwater at Southwest Pinnacle — North Peak

Southwest Pinnacle — North Peak

Dive site

Southwest Pinnacle is a cluster of submerged seamounts southwest of Koh Tao that rival Sail Rock for pelagic encounters. The north peak crests at 14 metres and drops steeply on all sides to 60 metres. Schooling chevron barracuda are a near-constant presence, whale sharks arrive from February through May, and large bumphead parrotfish graze the summit coral heads in the early morning.
