Southwest Pinnacle — South Boulders
Dive site
The southern side of Southwest Pinnacle dissolves into a tumble of granite boulders sloping from 18 to 45 metres, creating crevices and overhangs that shelter resting whitetip reef sharks and leopard sharks. The boulder field hosts excellent macro life including Coleman shrimp, peacock mantis shrimp in rubble patches, and tasseled scorpionfish camouflaged against the rock. Current is typically lighter here than on the north peak, making it a productive second dive.
