Underwater at North Point

North Point

Dive site

The northern tip of the Silk Cayes reef system channels current around a coral buttress at 8 to 20 m, concentrating baitfish that attract permit, trevally, and the occasional bull shark patrolling the upcurrent side. Reef architecture here is particularly intact, with unbroken brain coral heads and towering sea fans measuring over a meter across.
