Outer Drop-off
Dive site
The reef crest runs at 5 m before snapping into a sheer wall that plunges past sport diving limits — at this spot on the outer Belize Barrier Reef the oceanic visibility frequently exceeds 40 m, whale sharks cruise below in March and April following spawning aggregations, and the perpetual blue is patrolled by silky sharks and oceanic triggerfish.
