Caribbean reef sharks patrol the outer edges of Flat Island Reef particularly in the cooler months, drawn by the productive currents sweeping the eastern end of the island. Sightings are less reliable than at dedicated shark aggregation sites but all the more exhilarating when they occur in this remote, lightly dived setting.
