Underwater at Lagoon Patch Reefs

Lagoon Patch Reefs

Dive site

A cluster of coral heads rising from a 5 to 8 m sandy lagoon floor inside the reserve boundary, interspersed with seagrass beds that nurse juvenile reef fish. Southern stingrays half-bury in the sand, nurse sharks rest under coral overhangs, and the seagrass canopy shelters seahorses and juvenile spotted drums.
