Torre Guaceto Reef
Torre Guaceto · Italy
A representative dive across the heart of the Torre Guaceto reserve, from shallow Posidonia seagrass meadows and rocky ledges near the old watchtower down to a coralligenous platform around 20 to 40 metres. This is one of the Mediterranean's clearest recovery stories, where fully protecting a small core brought back seabream, octopus, moray and lobster in numbers you rarely see on the open coast. Access is managed by the reserve, so diving here runs through authorised guides rather than open recreational entry.
