Hawksbill turtles are resident foragers at Buccoo, feeding on sponges and sea fans within the protected lagoon. Their presence year-round reflects the reef's healthy sponge communities, which form a critical part of their diet. Encounters at shallow depths make these among the most accessible turtle dives in the southern Caribbean.
