Shark Point
Tufi · Papua New Guinea
A exposed headland at the mouth of the Tufi fjord system where the open Solomon Sea delivers a steady supply of pelagic life. Whitetip and grey reef sharks patrol the point in numbers, while hammerheads are sighted on early morning dives. The top of the point is smothered in pristine hard coral and the drop-off on the south side features enormous barrel sponges.
