Sv. Sv. Konstantin Wreck

Dive site

A steel cargo vessel approximately 60 metres in length resting on its port side at 28 metres, the Sv. Sv. Konstantin (also noted in local dive records as the St. Konstantin) is one of the most accessible wreck dives near Varna. The hull is largely intact with open cargo holds that intermediate divers can explore with a torch. Black Sea starfish, gobies, and encrusting sponges colonise the exterior plating. Visibility at depth tends to be slightly lower than shallower reef sites due to fine suspended particles from the sandy bottom, but calm summer conditions regularly allow 7 metres or more. The wreck lies within easy reach of Varna's dive boats on a calm day.
