Keri Caves
Zakynthos · Greece
The Keri Caves on Zakynthos's rugged southwest cape are a labyrinth of sea caves, arches and overhangs carved from golden limestone cliffs that plunge 25 metres into emerald water. Inside the grottoes, divers discover long-snouted seahorses clinging to gorgonians, moray eels peering from crevices, and a carpet of colourful nudibranchs on the cave walls. The interplay of surface light pouring through the cave mouths creates a theatrical atmosphere that makes Keri one of the most photogenic cave dives in the Ionian Sea.
