Overview
A unique group of limestone and dolomite caves in north central Zimbabwe, designated a National Park. The Wonder Hole leads to the Sleeping Pool, featuring intensely blue, crystal-clear waters with over 50 meters visibility. Experienced divers explore impressive geological formations and depths exceeding 100 meters, making it a premier technical cave diving destination in Africa.
Briefing note
Diving requires permits from the Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management Authority. The deep, dark cave environment necessitates appropriate training and equipment for technical cave diving.

How we summarise this
We aggregate confirmed occurrence records from GBIF and OBIS within a fixed radius of each dive site. Occurrence records confirm presence and reveal seasonality clustering, but they DO NOT measure per-dive probability — there is no eligible-effort denominator. We deliberately do not publish a numeric '% chance of sighting' from this data.
