The coastline between Kemer and Antalya hosts important nesting beaches, and feeding adults are commonly encountered grazing on jellyfish and seagrass at the reef's shallower margins. Turtles at Kemer are habituated to boat traffic and tend to surface for breath calmly even when divers are present below. Sub-adults up to 60 cm shell length are particularly frequent from spring through autumn.
