Pairs of french angelfish forage along the coral-encrusted wall, scraping algae and sponge material from the substrate. Their bold black-and-yellow juveniles occupy cleaning stations within the cave mouth, attracting a queue of chromis and wrasse seeking parasite removal. Adults are typically seen in bonded pairs that defend a defined territory across the wall section.
