Bay Canh Wall
Con Dao · Vietnam
Bay Canh Wall is Con Dao's most dramatic dive — a sloping reef face dropping from 10 to 35 meters along Bay Canh Island's southern shore, draped in sea fans and black coral with reliable sightings of whitetip reef sharks resting on ledges below 20 meters. The wall meets a sandy channel where leopard sharks are occasionally found, and the outer reef edge brings encounters with pelagic species unusual for Vietnam's generally shallow coastal waters. Bay Canh Island also hosts one of the country's most important sea turtle nesting beaches directly above the wall.
