The Pinnacle
Corn Islands · Nicaragua
An offshore seamount rising from 30 metres to within 10 metres of the surface, The Pinnacle concentrates pelagic life in a way rare anywhere in Central America. Schools of horse-eye jacks orbit the crown continuously, while silky sharks and the occasional hammerhead patrol the deeper flanks. The site demands some current experience but rewards with encounters that feel genuinely wild.
