Among the fastest fish in the ocean, wahoo streak through the blue water column above the seamount at speeds up to 78 km/h hunting anchovies and flying fish. Their razor-edged teeth and streamlined torpedo body allow them to slice through dense baitballs with surgical precision. October through January concentrations around the seamount attract sport fishers as well as divers — sharing the blue with these missiles mid-hunt is an unforgettable encounter.
