Flamboyant cuttlefish stalk the seagrass and rubble edges of Looc Bay, their pulsing yellow, red, and white warning coloration advertising their toxic flesh to predators. Unlike other cuttlefish, they prefer to walk on modified arm tips rather than swim, making them one of the most unusual cephalopods to observe underwater. Females are frequently found brooding eggs beneath rubble slabs in the shallower sections of the bay.
