Oriental sweetlips are a charismatic sight at Chebeh, their bold black and white juvenile markings giving way to spotted adult livery as they grow. They rest in social groups under coral ledges during the day and disperse at night to hunt invertebrates across the reef flat. Their affinity for structured overhangs makes Chebeh's granite boulder zones a predictable place to find them throughout the diving season.
