Thriving
North Lakshadweep
India · Lakshadweep
The northern atolls of Lakshadweep — Agatti, Bangaram, Kadmat, and the rarely visited Chetlat — see a fraction of the visitor numbers that reach Bangaram's southern dive sites. Agatti's house reef is accessible directly from the island's airstrip, Kadmat's eastern wall is one of the steepest drops in the archipelago, and Chetlat sits near-pristine behind its permit wall. Reef mantas, Napoleon wrasse, and hawksbill turtles appear on nearly every dive.
