Dolphin Reef (Shaab Sataya North)
Fury Shoals · Egypt
The northern wall of Shaab Sataya drops in dramatic vertical steps to 40 m, alternating between overhanging shelves carpeted in soft coral and vertical faces studded with giant sea fans. Resident napoleon wrasse, schooling barracuda, and occasional hammerhead sightings on the blue-water sections make this site a strong standalone dive even without the adjacent dolphin encounter. The wall's sheltered lee side provides calm conditions when surface swells make the outer reef challenging, making it a reliable alternative on windier days.
