Denise's pygmy seahorses colonize the large sea fans along Cobrador's wall, their tiny orange bodies camouflaged perfectly among the fan's polyps. At under 2 cm they are among the smallest vertebrates on earth and are easily overlooked without a knowledgeable guide. Pairs or small groups are typically found at depths between 18 and 35 meters on Muricella and Annella sea fans.
