Kavos Bay
Corfu · Greece
Kavos sits at the southern tip of Corfu where shallow sandy bays transition into rocky reef edges, and this combination of habitat types makes it the island's most productive macro dive. Octopus, moray eels, and seahorses all occupy different microhabitats within a single dive, and the site's gentle topography and reliable calm water make it ideal for extended bottom time. Night diving here is particularly rewarding — the sandy patches come alive with hunting cuttlefish, spider crabs, and sleeping parrotfish draped in their mucus cocoons.
