South Bay (Nan Wan)
Kenting National Park · Taiwan
Nan Wan is the hub of Kenting's dive scene, with a broad shallow bay that transitions into a productive coral slope and then drops to sandy channels at 20 to 25 meters. The site is sheltered by the headlands to either side, making it diveable on most days of the year except during typhoon season. Hawksbill turtles, pufferfish, and large Napoleon wrasse are regular sightings along the coral ridges that run perpendicular to the beach.
