Seriola dumerili arrives at exposed walls like Cretaccio to intercept mackerel and sardine migrations, and large schools can be observed hanging in the blue off the wall's deeper sections in summer. The Tremiti reserve has allowed individuals to reach exceptional size, and solitary trophy-grade amberjack — fish of 30 kg and over — are regular encounters at depth.
