Ant Atoll

Micronesia · Pacific

Ant Atoll is a remote, uninhabited lagoon system roughly 10 kilometres west of Pohnpei and one of Micronesia's best-kept secrets. Accessible only by boat, the atoll rewards the effort with pristine reefs that see almost no fishing pressure, a rich cast of large pelagics including napoleon wrasse, grey reef sharks, and occasional whale sharks, plus resident turtle populations and spinner dolphin pods that frequently ride the bow wave on the crossing.
