Palau Rock Islands South
Palau · Micronesia
The southern Rock Islands group concentrates Palau's most dramatic vertical wall diving, with Siaes Tunnel offering a cathedral-like passage through the outer reef, Peleliu Wall dropping into open ocean where grey reef and silvertip sharks patrol in numbers, Yellow Wall blazing with soft corals and sea fans, and New Drop-Off delivering a signature shark encounter on a sheer limestone cliff. These sites see stronger open-ocean swells and current than the central lagoon, rewarding experienced divers with exceptional pelagic action and wall biodiversity.
