Wallis Island
France · Pacific
Wallis Island, the main island of the French territory of Wallis and Futuna, is encircled by a barrier reef that shelters a crystal-clear lagoon. Dive sites range from pristine coral gardens alive with reef fish to shark and ray cleaning stations and deep outer-wall dives. Tourism infrastructure is minimal and the territory receives almost no dive visitors, leaving the reefs in exceptional condition.
